The originalBirds Barbershop, the recently-opened Black Sheep Lodge, and their adjacent businesses all attract a considerable amount of traffic and parking in the residential streets north of the retail development. Local residents, arguing that conditions near their homes have now reached the point where driving and getting in and out of their driveways is a hazard, are in the final stages of applying for a Residential Parking Permit program with the City of Austin.
