Evan Patterson, Geoff Paton, and Nick Thieneman formed Young Widows in 2006; previously, the trio had been an integral part of hardcore outfit Breather Resist. When singer Steve Sindoni quit Breather Resist, they soldiered on initially under the same moniker but eventually changed the name prior to the release of their debut record Settle Down City. By 2008, drummer Paton had been replaced by Jeremy McMonigle, and in September of the same year the band dropped the impressive Old Wounds full-length. more ›
