Austin (Veggie) Bites: Clay Pit's New Menu Offerings
Clay Pit, the Indian food Valhalla on Guadalupe and 16th Street, has recently updated their menu, and all vegan items are now marked with a handy little "v" symbol, in addition to their substantial vegetarian offerings. While perhaps not the most authentic, their Indian dishes have nevertheless neatly filled a curry-shaped void in Austinites’ stomachs since 1998, and was called “one of the best Indian restaurants in the United States” by Bon Appetit magazine.
