Can't remember the last time you saw a comedy show that left you seriously speechless? Good news: your pals at The New Movement Theater are proud to announce the arrival of The Chris Gethard Show Cross Country Adventure, a no-holds-barred comedy explosion starring a traveling band of improvisers making their way from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City to it’s sister theater in Los Angeles. In his ten years of performing at New York's UCB Theater, Gethard has put on some mind-blowing shows. This Kickstarter-funded road trip is his most ambitious project yet, a tour that puts a group of comedians in one tiny van for a barely-planned jaunt across the US. Gethard and pals will be bringing their quirky brand of games, stories, rants and improv to a select few cities on their way from one coast to the other. The traveling troupe will perform two shows at the United States Art Authority on Saturday, January 22nd. At 8 PM, Austin improvisers The New Movement All-Stars will open for the UCB All-Stars for an hour-long improv extravaganza. At 10 PM, Gethard and pals will put on their signature Chris Gethard Show, an unpredictable, multi-format comedy experience that pushes boundaries and guarantees a good time.
