We at Austinist have learned to trust most things that come out of staffer Adi Anand's mind. His residency series is famed for bringing a solid lineup of just-below-the-radar bands up the the surface. He's also known for hosting an array of musical events around town that always ensure a good time. And yes, pretty much everything he touches turns to gold, which he then places in buckets and puts at the end of the rainbows that seem to follow him everywhere. San Marcos-based Americana/folk group Three Leaf have just returned from a couple of months in Ghana with their dear friends, fellow musicians Gouda, where they helped the neo-traditional Ghanaian band record their album. Setting up a makeshift studio in Accra, the friends played and recorded together for several weeks amidst weddings, performances at Alliance Francais and more. more ›
