Art-rock group The Seas provide a delicate sound that sits snugly in the underground of psychedelic pop music. The band harbors the whimsical nature of experimental musicians like Beck while focusing on art-rock traditions of acts like Talking Heads. Members Nurk (lead vocals, melodica, mono-tone keys), LaRue (bass, keys/piano, vocals), El Jefe (guitar, trombone, vocals), Tubbers J. Jackson (percussion/drums) have been playing together since 2006. In 2009, they released a full-length album, Let's Fake It, and performed in London as part of the City Showcase festival at the Apple Store on Oxford Street. more ›
