The Miró Quartet with Percussionist Colin Currie [Show Preview]
One of the country's most acclaimed string ensembles resides at the University of Texas as the faculty string quartet for the Butler School of Music. The Miró Quartet, comprised of Daniel Ching, violin; Sandy Yamamoto, violin; John Largess, viola; and Joshua Gindele, cello, was founded in 1995 at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music at Oberlin College. The group has since won numerous awards and grants, and regularly performs at some of the world's most famous concert venues (e.g. Carnegie Hall).
