It's no secret that we love Teen Witch. Like, love loves. Uttering the words "sing-along" in tandem with the title of our favorite 80's musical trainwreck causes our radar mind for everything cheesy to go into overdrive, but little did we know our capacity for squealiness until we also heard the name Zelda Rubinstein thrown into the mix. Zelda freakin' Rubinstein!! As in, the teensy character actor of Poltergeist fame, who just happens to play the pivotal role of irresistible mentor to our favorite burgeoning witch.

This Sunday, he and his brother/writing partner Tom Weir will visit Austin to host a serendipitous screening of the 80's cult cheese classic Teen Witch as part of the Alamo Drafthouse Celebrity Guest Signature Series. Apparently, an Alamo staffer had been bugging the management to play the movie for years...
