This Thursday, the beat-bumping and unmistakably gay Team Gina puts out their first record Products of the Eighties, and there’s no better coming out party, so to speak, as a sweaty Friday night show at The Chain Drive. Crafting busy retro-dance jams in the vein of Nicky Click or Gravy Train!!!!, Team Gina couldn’t give their album a more spot-on title – musical influences supposedly include Kris Kross, Milli Vanilli and Salt ‘n Pepa (yeah!), and their songs namedrop Thundercats and shoulder pads.
