Momo's 10th Anniversary Celebration Friday and Saturday
Momo’s is one of those Austin landmark venues with a very loyal following. The club, along with owner Paul Oveisi, have become vitally important to the city’s music scene over the last 10 years, and this Friday marks the kickoff of the club’s 10th anniversary celebration with performances by Suzanna Choffel, Dan Dyer Band, Jon Dee Graham, The Coveters, Drew Smith’s Lonely Choir and a lot more over two days.
Patty Griffin & Friends: Grounded in Music Fundraiser @ the Paramount
The third annual Grounded in Music VIP fundraiser kicks off tonight at the Paramount Theater. Patty Griffin, who is also a Grounded in Music board member, will perform with Jack Ingram and Scott Miller. The evening's opening act features youth who have participated in Grounded in Music's educational opportunities.

Where would ATX's musician community be without Austin Music Foundation? Most likely: much poorer. AMF is dedicated to expanding the minds and putting money in the pockets of Austin's world-renowned community of musicians through programs that elucidate the various aspects of the industry. To bring these badly-needed services to a sometimes endearingly clueless cadre, they need to raise money.
