Up and Coming...Fast: Local Natives at Antone's (GIVEAWAY!)

Up and Coming...Fast: Local Natives at Antone's (GIVEAWAY!)

Local Natives' lush arrangements, harmonizing vocals, and sensitive-but-not-toooooo-sensitive California five-piece approach give energy to their passionate, tightly-wound pop songs, and it's no wonder that not only did this show, a mere six weeks since their SX blitz, have to be moved from Emo's inside to the much larger Antone's, but that the show (a late one, and opened by Suckers) is dead straight sold out. So best of luck to you in corralling a couple tickets to this one. That said, do your best: it's pretty much guaranteed that this show is going to make for a fantastic evening, and, who knows, at the rate they're going, it may be the last time you can catch them before their crowd doubles yet again. more ›

All that being said (and kicked right out the way), the songs on this EP are good, or at least quite different from what one might imagine based on the aforementioned flags. more ›
