Austin’s Inside Book Project works year-round to send literature to Texas prison inmates who request books. This weekend they will be holding one of their marathon volunteer drives/parties to package materials and catch-up on 2,000 back requests. They are meeting at their collection center (300 Allen St., 3 blocks east of E. 5th and Pleasant Valley) from right this second until Sunday at 6pm.
