If you're not familiar with Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, a perusal of the plot would do you good before seeing The Nina Variations. Steven Dietz's play takes the tragic, star-crossed heroes—neither of whom has a story that ends well at all in the original—and plucks them from their destiny, giving them a chance to figure things out.

To call Zach Scott's current production of Doubt "rock solid" doesn't do it service. The acting is terrific, the lighting design is gorgeous, the costumes, the set, the sound—they all support the piece perfectly. For lack of better words, it's spot-on.
