State Representative Veronica Gonzales, D-McAllen, is spearheading an effort to help cancer patients looking for a bone marrow transplant. Today, the First Annual Capitol Bone Marrow Registration Drive will take place in the Legislative Conference Room, affording Austinites an opportunity to enter into the National Marrow Donor Registry by giving a quick saliva cheek swab and filling out a brief registration form.
