The Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas has partnered with Austin Ventures, Silicon Labs, and others to provide matching funds for donations to the Haitian earthquake relief effort. The special interest fund with match donations up to $600,000 and a committee will direct the funds to the most effective organizations providing disaster relief services in Haiti. Because "emergency relief professionals and others [have] determined that this weekend remains critical" the group is wiring $250,000 as of today. It's expected that they'll come in close to the reigning course champions, Team Jack and Adam’s, who clocked in at 2:21 and 15 seconds last year.
