This Monday, the Austin Music Foundation brings us “Web 2.0: Effective Strategies for Online Promotion,” the 37th edition of its informative Music Industry Boot Camp series. From the official AMF website, “Music Industry Boot Camp is a quarterly educational seminar series created by Austin Music Foundation to help musicians and industry professionals learn about the business aspects of the music industry so that they can become more savvy and ultimately more successful with their artistic endeavors. Originally intended as a side project for members of Bomblast, experimental trio Trans Am have long since produced innovative, electronic post-rock. The band has floated between instrumental noise sessions and vocoder furnished electro-synth over the course of their decade long career.
