Tonight at 9pm, Whiskey and Apples Records will host a small, intimate show that features Peter & the Wolf, One Umbrella and Nick Hennies. The show will be tucked away in an east side apartment (1333 Arena Dr. #142)*. Why the hell would we tell you about some tiny show that takes place in an apartment? 1) Because shows rule. 2) We have already documented our crush on One Umbrella. 3) Peter & the......

Austinist has recently found itself in the strange position of being a big fan of experimental electronic music. We never thought we'd be into this sort of stuff, but all of a sudden, staticy loops and distorto bass lines totally do it for us. Sometimes, we even want to dance. This weekend, there is a free electronic show at what is quickly becoming our favorite record store in Austin, End of an Ear. One......

As if Gallery Lombardi (910 West Third St) wasn't doing enough for our local art and music scene, it's pullin' back-to-back duty and dropping yet another artshow on our asses. On Friday, June 10th, Purchase New York, Peel, One Umbrella, Survivla, and Jail Rules will be playing Lombardi, accompanied by various local art. The show opens at noon and runs until 3am. We're not sure when the music starts, but we imagine it won't......
