Were they a passing team that threw it all over the field? A run-first team that ground you into the dirt? A blitzing, hard-hitting defense? Over the last two games,...
#14 Texas (7-2) vs. Oklahoma State (5-3) Time: 2:30 pm, Saturday, Nov. 3 Location: Boone Pickens Stadium, Stillwater, Oklahoma TV: ABC Radio: KVET (98.1 FM, 1300 AM) With three games remaining in the regular season, the Texas Longhorns are as much as a mystery as they were before the season started. After losing Ryan Perriloux to LSU at the 11th hour last year and watching high school standouts Kyle Wright (Miami) and Bobby Reid (Oklahoma State) go elsewhere, the Longhorns had been in a bit of a funk with regard to getting a nationally-ranked QB prospect. That all changed a few days ago when Stephenville High QB Jevan Snead made an oral commitment to attend UT next year, leaving the Florida Gators crying in their beer. Snead is ranked as the fourth-best dual QB propsect according to Rivals.com, a recruiting website and the 78th-best high school player in the coutnry, regardless of position.
