Maria’s is being scooched to a Walgreen’s parking lot, Las Manitas is soon to become the lobby for traveling toilet salesmen from Indiana, and every mobile taco slinger on the East Side is about to get the business end of the City Councils’ Mag-Lite. Indie/hippie hobos nomads Brightblack Morning Light released their self-titled sophomore album just weeks ago, and while we didn't particularly care for it, others seem to generally dig 'em. Former Heisman Trophy winner and former Texas Longhorn Ricky Williams has gotten into some hot water, again. Williams reportedly has violated the NFL's drug policy for the fourth time. A fourth violation requires a one-year suspension from the league. Williams, who won the Heisman in his senior year in 1998 at UT, was the subject of intense scrutiny after failing several drug tests and admittedly smoking marijuana, then disappearing and resurfacing at a holistic training facility in Northern California.
