Former Texas point guard D.J. Augustin was selected as the ninth overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Bobcats Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. It appears LaMarcus Aldridge will follow in the footsteps of Longhorn football player Vince Young and leave UT early for the riches of the professional ranks.
