When Gorillaz's headline release, Plastic Beach, made best of year lists all over the internets, few bands were in position to benefit as much as Little Dragon. See, the Swedish four-piece and their dynamo lead singer, Yukimi Nagano, had played key roles on two of the album's most captivating tracks (including the astonishing "Empire Ants"), and the worldwide tour that followed the album's release saw them rise from hopeful underdogs to legitimate band-to-watch.
