Gibson's calm and reassuring voice melds perfectly with her soft guitar pickings, and support from a variety of musicians and instruments help mold her indie-folk into a warm, lush assortment of harmonies, soothing tempos and haunting compositions. The Mohawk hosts her this Thursday, and if the mp3s on her MySpace page are any indication, Gibson promises to melt more than just the possible lingering ice this winter evening.
