Charity Fundraiser at Tacodeli
On mornings after a particularly nasty night of drinking, the only thing that coaxes us out of bed is the thought of stumbling over to nearby Tacodeli and ordering up a plate of delectable breakfast tacos (our favorite: eggs, chorizo and avocado on wheat). We happened to stop by this morning on the way to work, and found out about a neat charity fundraiser they're throwing tomorrow night:
Ripple's making big waves!
This Saturday, April 30th, from 7pm-9pm, Progress Coffee (500 San Marcos St) is hosting a show entitled . The opening features wine, bite-sized food, music and the paintings of Sean Ripple, a self-made mover/shaker in Austin's art scene.
Where there's smoke, there might not be soon
The city is anxiously awaiting (or maybe dreading) May 7th, when Austin will be allowed to vote on the fate of cigarettes in public places. Some people are rejoicing. Some are really, really pissed off.
