Tonight, Laguna Gloria presents what is arguably one of the most highly-anticipated food and drink events of the year. Now in its 20th turn, La Dolce Vita will host 50 restaurants and 20 vineyards this event for its international tasting party, benefiting Austin Museum of Art.

While the emphasis of La Dolce Vita is certainly on the food, the night was beautiful with the crisp lake breeze, beautiful décor, and incredible setting. Proceeds from La Dolce Vita go directly to supporting the AMOA’s art exhibits and education, showing us that gorging yourself on food has consequences other than the negative ones on your waistline. The sweet life, indeed!

One of Austin's most anticipated annual culinary events (voted "Best Food Event" by the 2008 Austin Chronicle Readers Poll) returns to the lakeside Laguna Gloria location of the Austin Museum of Art this Thursday from 6-9pm. Hallmarked by a bacchanal theme, this 19th annual event features the foodie fare of more than 50 of Austin's top food purveyors (including some of our favorites like Hey Cupcake!, Roaring Fork, Sweet Tempered, Ranch 616 and Tacodeli) as well as dozens of wines provided by Twin Liquors. Savvy Vodka will also be on hand, as well as the of-so-superlatively-delicious Paula's Texas Spirits.
