We all knew that Bon Iver was a special project when singer/songwriter Justin Vernon, crafted his heart-torn 2007 debut album, For Emma, Forever Ago, in a cabin in Wisconsin’s wilderness. With that he captured all that cold, barren isolation and poured that sentiment into stripped down acoustic melodies and yearning falsettos that set chills up our spines as we listened along.
