Propelled by irresistible anthems such as “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” and “Cold Hard Bitch,” Australia’s JET fast became a staple of mainstream radio a few years ago on the heels of their debut full-length Get Born. The band formed during the early part of this decade, releasing the Dirty Sweet EP in 2002 and immediately gaining the attention of U.K. hype-mongers NME and probably more importantly, Elektra Records. The aforementioned Get Born, released on Elektra Records in 2003, was followed by a high profile tour in Australia in support of The Rolling Stones and a lengthy jaunt overseas.
