The good folks over at the delicious Independence Brewery have come out with their very first seasonal brew: Jasperilla Old Ale. The ale, which carries a slight citrus note balanced by a smooth hop finish, is named after the brewery’s dog, Jasper. The new brew will be perfect to drink out on the porch on the cool nights ahead. We can’t wait. And if you want to get a taste of the Jasperilla, you should head on down for the Repeal of Prohibition Brewery Tour this Saturday. Celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition at Independence Brewery with a tour featuring info about Prohibition-era brewing.
