Future Clouds and Radar are so into it. It's not difficult to tell when a band is phoning it in, but with these guys there's never any danger. They're filled with the incredible shining power of music, and they're looking for mountaintops to shout it off of. As such, their albums reflect this.

Robert Harrison’s forte has always been melodious pop music and his current outfit Future Clouds and Radar is no anomaly. The act’s stellar self-titled album (out now on Star Apple Kingdom) contains boundless hooks and plenty of Beatles-esque psychedelia, and has garnered rave reviews from a plethora of publications such as HARP, Paste, Pop Culture Press, and No Depression. Check out the video for “Dr. No.” here.
Future Clouds and Radar? Austinist Forecasts an Awesome Show
Tonight at Stubb's, two bands will be on their best behavior, seeing many of us out to our respective destinations for the holidays in what might be our last show until - gasp - late next week! Come get a live music fix before making nice with random relatives over deviled eggs and cider in your Mee-Maw's living room. You'll want to equip your noggin with some infectious tunes to hum before you subject yourself to the familio-political rigors of the holiday season.
