The good folks at Fat Caddy Records are putting together a singer-songwriter showcase this Friday at Jovita’s. The Music starts at 6pm with Daniel Makins and Michael Jarrett playing till 8pm, then you can enjoy the sounds of Black Water Gospel and Austin Collins from 8:30pm to midnight. The Best Mexican Import Since...

Who doesn’t love free movies featuring Latin heartthrobs, and for the next couple of days you can catch the most recent films starring Gael Garcia Bernal over at Pedazo Chunk Video. You can even get to see Dot The I before it shows at the Dobie next weekend. They will be having free screenings at 9pm most nights for the rest of the month, but the Garcia Bernal marathon will end on Wednesday with El Crimen Del Padre Amaro. Pedazo Chunk’s screening room is comfortably equipped with multiple sofas and recliners so you can pretend you are watching movies at home with a bunch of strangers sitting in your living room.
