SXSW Presents returns to KLRU TV tomorrow for its third season, with four brand new episodes slated to run through the end of February. The Alamo Drafthouse Downtown is hosting a special event featuring everyone's favorite kitschy-yet-dependable food storage solution. The complete list of films for the 13th Annual SXSW Film Fest has been released. As we told youd in January, the Fest will kick off with the world premiere of Robert Altman's "A Prairie Home Companion." Paul Weitz's "American Dreamz" will close the fest. And in between there will be 115 feautres, including 50 world premieres, and of course a bevy of wonderful shorts. The list of shorts will be released February 13th.......

Last Thursday, the Maui Film Festival awarded Andrew, Owen, and Luke Wilson with a Shooting Star Trophy for their most recent film, The Wendell Baker Story, which the festival describes as "inspiring." Wendell Baker was filmed almost entirely in Austin a couple of years ago. We remember watching the brothers (and Will Ferrell!) film some scenes in Hyde Park and we remember being star-struck.
