Matthew Cooper, a.k.a. Eluvium, conducts his ambient experiments at The Parish this Saturday night. The Portland resident utilizes a wide array of string instrumentation to concoct absorbing soundscapes that are largely soothing and serene, but do harbor resonating finales from time to time. And although the piano may well be his primary tool, expect Cooper to employ plenty of samples to layer his euphoric compositions during the live show.
