The film is shot in dark color tones, replicating George Washington Winsterhammerman's (Galifianakis) dreary job as a "visioneer," which requires him to wear strange glasses and sit at a desk, though we never discover exactly what his job entails. Drama arises when it's learned that the team's missing member exploded. Not in a sort of espionage, car bomb, way, but spontaneous combustion due to existential crisis.
