- Yogi the dog just won a huge award for being a life-saving companion animal. (Expect even more dogs to be out on the trails once people read this story!)
- You’d think it was 1911, not 2011, when you read about how family planning is being pushed aside during this Legislative session. (Maybe we should get these legislators to take care of four children under the age of five for a week straight -- with no outside help -- and see if they rethink their priorities?)
- Who knows if this Fredericksburg blogger’s “man crush” on Putin is going to develop into a full-fledged bromance?

- The October issue of Men’s Health magazine declared Austin to be the most sexually active city in America. You might care that part of the data they used to determine this ranking was the rate of STD’s!

Samurai the Sleepiest Dog of SXSW
Anyone can do man-on-the-street interviews, but you know you're up to something special when you can get a dog-on-the-street interview. This is Samurai the mellowest, sleepiest, most-laid back dog of SXSW and his buddy Jameson. We met them outside of Buffalo Billiards on 6th. Jameson says that Samurai wears sunglasses because so many people take pictures of him using flash photography, which is frowned upon at art galleries and apparently also by dog owners....
