David Bazan, of Pedro the Lion, has built his musical persona largely on autobiographical songs narrating his fretful longing for belief. In one of the most anticipated shows of the year, two of this generation's most beloved singer-songwriters and one young up-and-comer are gonna be strumming the night away this evening at Emo's. On the 13th, he graces Emo’s intimate inside stage with singer/songwriter Rosie Thomas (who appeared on Jurado’s Ghost of David) as well Austin’s the Lovely Sparrows, fresh on the heels of the release of Pulling Up Floors, Pouring on (New) Paint.
