In fact, they like robots so much that they went and directed a movie--a slow and maddeningly arty movie--about two robots who embark on a dusty California road trip hoping to become human. Kind of like The Brown Bunny! But maybe slower. If you're looking for lively, tightly wound narrative action, move right along. However, if watching impassive robots tear up a deserted Cali highway in a 1987 Ferrari sounds like so much awesome to you, this is your film.
