CNN's chief medical correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and his brother, Sunil, opened the day's sessions talking about the Kahani Movement, a project designed to build a community to tell the stories of the South Asian immigrants that came to the United States in the 1960s and 1970s. "Kahani" means "story" in Hindi and the Guptas said the goal is to help capture untold stories from first-generation South Asians in the U.S. and provide those stories with a platform to be heard.
