TXRD Roller Girls have announced that the bout scheduled for Sunday February 26th, 2006 has been postponed due to permit restrictions. They are currently working with the City of Austin to resolve the situation. The match originally included a meeting between the Cherry Bombs and Putas del Fuego and will hopefully be re-scheduled soon. If you already have tickets to the event, they will be honoring them at any future event, for questions please contact info@txrd.com. Although there will be no regularly scheduled event this Sunday they do plan on throwing a party in it's absence, check their website as details unfold.

Rollergirls premieres tonight at 9 p.m. on A&E. And if you are truly bohemian (or utterly broke) and don’t have cable (or a television), you can head over to the Lake Creek Alamo Drafthouse for the free viewing party, also at 9 p.m.
