The University of North Texas has a world renowned music program, known primarily for their high ranking jazz program and associated bands. But while Denton has spawned many notable jazz and classical musicians, their ranks have also inspired many other acts, including the "acid-punk" band Brutal Juice, who first appeared in the early nineties and have more recently reunited for shows, which included many appearances at the now-defunct Fry Street Fair in Denton. more ›
