During college, San Marcos-based singer-songwriter Terri Hendrix walked away from an opera scholarship and started picking up guitar skills from Marion Williamson, who taught Hendrix in exchange for help around the farm. Now, some years and nine self-released albums later, Hendrix has a grassroots following that stretches not only across Texas's Hill Country, but across the country in general and out into Europe and the rest of the world. more ›

Out the Other's ACL Previews: What Made Milwaukee Famous, Cat Power, Wolf Parade and More

There have been a few changes to the ACL schedule since last week - as Tom noted yesterday, both Ghostland Observatory and The Dears have been added to the lineup, replacing Feist and Kasey Chambers. And there's another dropout - Fields are off the schedule, so Brett Dennen has been added to the Austin Ventures Stage lineup on Sunday, shifting a few of the artists to later slots that day.
