Austin's high-brow erotica e-zine, Box Magazine, just launched issue #4. "Binge + Purge" contains a ton of tittilating text and other, well, things, which we're not gonna bother summarizing owing to its exhaustively comprehensive nature. [sex toys, hot photos, and a pair of melon-sized testicles: box mag #4] Along with the new issue, Box has also done a site redesign, incorporating a bunch of new features, among which are things like Wiley Wiggins' sex blog ("...Axillism is a sex act between a penis and an armpit. So my question is what position do you think would be best for my new fetish?"), a porn review blog ("Usually, porn movies are something my penis and I have a deep understanding about."), and outtakes from past photo shoots. We should probably also mention that all of the links in this post are NSFW (not suitable for work).

Box Magazine invited us over to Mug Shot's for the launch of Issue #3: Fetish. For the launch party, they had a pillow fight, and they asked us to take some pictures. It's the kind of assignment that reminds you of why you became a photographer.

Box Magazine's throwing another party tonight, this time to celebrate the launch of Box #3 -- what we've taken to calling "That Milk Issue." "Fetish," as it's properly titled, features all manners of ridiculous, hilarious, and questionably sexy turn-ons -- with helpful pictures. Things like: nasophilia ("sexual attraction to noses"), kleptophilia ("sexual arousal derived from stealing"), arborophilia ("sexual arousal related to trees"), and several more that we really can't print here for fear of our site being banned by your company's internet monitoring software. Needless to say, we really, really don't recommend that you download this at work, but take a peek at it in your off time. Or use your cubicle mate's computer, because everyone secretly hates him anyways. Tonight, they're hosting a party at Mugshots (East 7th and Trinity, one block west of Red River), with DJ sets by Willis Dyer, Car Stereo (Wars) and "friends," a "professional" pillow fight, and, as befits their newly established tradition, tantalizing burlesque by Bunny Le Roi, one of the magazine's editors. Plus, they're giving away a pair of JB sneaks to whoever has the hottest mugshot of the evening. Box Magazine Issue 3 Release Party

It's about time to get lucky this Friday the 13th with the Box Magazine Issue 2 launch party. It's happening over at the Peacock, with music by Aleem + Michael and, because it'll probably be deliciously overindulgent, it's strictly 21+. Anyone with strong moral fiber might opt to stay home and catch up on reruns of "7th Heaven." We're especially looking forward to the special performance by Skinny Boy Burlesque. Just for aesthetic reasons, of course.
