Town Lake Trail Gap May Finally Be Closed

The nasty gap in the Town Lake Hike-and-Bike Trail on either side of I-35 on the south side of the lake may finally be closed. The circle squared. The Odyssey completed. Just like we wanted! The Parks and Recreation Department and the Town Lake Trail Foundation have obtained a $250,000 pledge from Constellation Property Group, which is building the "Star Riverside" condos nearby.   • A woman was attacked on the Hike and Bike Trail on Wednesday morning. Just remember to be safe ; use common sense and be aware of your surroundings when you're out alone.
  • As if we needed another reason to live downtown, a new grocery store is coming to the 2nd Street Retail District. That pretty much seals the deal for us.
  • Next time you're tempted to open an email promising any kind of free porn, keep in mind that the Kama Sutra Virus is a potential threat and preys on your sexually-curious little mind. It may not be as bad as those computer nerds originally thought, though.
