Manchester Orchestra starts out most of their material with emotional, peaceful little chunks of harmony; then, like a chainsaw to a tree, the sound is quickly interrupted by raw unearthy screamo licks. The band's mix is definitely indie rock, but it totally stands out from many others in the genre.
