We love Air America, oh yes, we do. The very concept makes our inner liberal quiver with glee. Seriously, who isn’t secretly in love with Janeane Garofalo? We’re lucky to live in one of the American cities where one can listen freely to Air America (1600 AM), but it hasn’t been such an easy road for the nationwide radio network. Gosh, it’s hard to imagine why.

Al Franken, speaking at SXSW, just announced that Air America has gone live on KOKE 1600 AM here in Austin. He also talked about the very good chance that he'd be running for a senate seat in Minnesota in 2008. The word is unofficial, obviously, but Mr. Franken said that his wife may have just bought a condo in Minnesota so that they can establish residency.
