Early this morning, 23 year old Gabrielle Jane Nestande (an aide to Rep. Christian) allegedly failed to stop and render aid after hitting a pedestrian with her vehicle in West Austin. YNN is reporting that she is now in custody and charged with the third degree felony crime. The pedestrian died on the street in front of a neighbor's house and was found just after 5 a.m. Officers on the scene found pieces of a vehicle on the ground, and police are now in possession of Nestande's vehicle as well.
