Austinist Show Preview: The Frontier Brothers @ Emo's Lounge tonight!

101X presents the latest installment of its Homegrown Live series this Wednesday at Emo’s Lounge. The Frontier Brothers will release their debut full-length Space Punk Starlet in October and some of that new material is sure to be previewed live in concert this evening. Ashley Pryble on French horn, Iram Reyes on trumpet, and Curtis Rouch on bass will join the usual band members Brett Moses, Marshall Galactic, and Travis Newman on stage for this special performance, and in their own words -- “we are going to sound B I G.” (Per The Frontier Brothers’ blog.) The jovial, space leotard wearing trio was featured in the June issue of SPIN magazine and they also caught the attention of MTV during SXSW this year. more ›
