Esme Barrera Tributes, Benefits
- A video featuring the "Esme Barrera Fan Club" performing at her memorial is now online:
- Los Angeles will have their own benefit for Esme at pehrspace on Friday, January 20th. Four bands will perform, with the first starting at 9:15.
- Can't Stop The Bleeding offers a personal, warm remembrance here.
- A blog has been created to pool the collective mixes, memories, and photos of Esme's friends and family.
- Waterloo Records, where Esme also worked, offer their thoughts. The store plans on offering a reward for any pertinent information related to the case.

- Musicians Allo Darlin', Ted Leo, and Fred Thomas remember Esme.
- A digital compilation will come out in February featuring "many of Esme's favorite local and national artists" including the aforementioned Ted Leo and "at least 20 others." Proceeds will go to the Barrera family.
- Another benefit will take place on the 28th at Beerland, with Ted Leo headlining (he's a frontrunner for mensch of the year, already). Also playing are The Crack Pipes, Grape St., and The Golden Boys. Thanks for letting us know, Domy.

- Affinity Tattoo and Piercing are offering, via artists David Guy, Matt Morren, and Nic Lynds, these tattoos featuring Charlie Chauvin's design. The tattoos are $50 and the proceeds go to the Barrera family.
- In addition to Ringo Deathstarr using their cover of "Sailin' On" to raise money, Lauren Larson of Ume is donating proceeds from a recording of a new song called "Gleam" to the Barrera family.
