What better way to celebrate the 2012 Iowa Caucus than with a free show at Red 7? This Free Week showcase is bursting at the seams with local talent, ranging from scene veterans to emerging acts. Headlining is Bike Problems, who describe themselves as "a punk band of bike riders who write music about bikes and problems for bike punks and/or nerds who like bikes," making for some of the most relatable music to Austinites this side of thrash metal band I-35 On A Good Day (okay, that one was made up). Joining them are local stalwarts The Gary and The Midgetmen, with the latter currently celebrating a decade making music together. Meanwhile, fuzz rock upstarts The Blistering Speeds (who are planning to release their first full-length this summer) and girl/boy harmonies of Killdeer round out the lineup.
