Those of you who regularly follow our theater coverage (we'd like to hug you for that) have noticed that we adore Trouble Puppet. Their anarchic, thoughtful, silly storytelling makes the perfect case for the relevance of puppetry in contemporary theater. Given that, we trust their judgement, and they've brought some Yankee friends to town for an intriguing one weekend stand at Salvage Vanguard.

All we know about the duo who are They Gotta Be Secret Agents (Bonnie Duncan and Tim Gallagher) is that they were once part of Boston's rubbery troupe Snappy Dance Theater, and that their current work combines acrobatics, puppetry (naturally), and dance. They're here for four performances presenting Poste Restante, a piece that has been presented from Boston to Prague. It somehow involves a mysterious package, a winged bicycle, a cardboard box bikini, and a cocoa puff.

We're intrigued, and a little nervous. Check out the video below, in which Bonnie practices something called a face walkover on Tim - it's enough to make us believe Poste Restante is not to be missed. (Friends of Trouble Puppet, check your e-mail for a discount tickets code.)
