At Big Medium: Fumes + Objective Space

Inspired by the effect of media consumption on the psyche, Douglas Pollard debuts drawings, a large-scale wall mural, and a few additional surprises at Big Medium's Big Gallery tonight. Pollard states, “On some level, I can’t tell the difference between conflicts in the Middle East and a Burger King commercial. We are surrounded by an intangible cloud of content and information which has blended itself into the collective consciousness. This project is an attempt to visually depict the more ethereal qualities of our psychological relationships with contemporary mass media.”

Chantelle Rodriguez’s “Objective Space,” a collection of paintings and prints inspired by space and emptiness, will also open at Big Medium's Little Gallery on Saturday.
