Want to Attend Berklee College of Music for Free?
Hey young musicians - are you thinking about going to music school? In a rather unusual pairing, Berklee College of Music is collaborating with C3 Presents to create the Lollapalooza Endowed Scholarship. The four-year, full tuition offer will be awarded to one eminent student after a circuit of auditions and interviews around the globe. With the Berklee World Tour heading to Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and all of the Americas, they've only allocated nineteen stops in the United States.
Luckily, Austin made the cut - auditions will be held here February 16, 2012. Sign up soon though - there's only the single date available. And start practicing now, as the competition for a free ride to Berklee, one of the top tier music colleges in the nation, is bound to be fierce. With Berklee graduates ranging from members of Passion Pit to Annie Clark of St. Vincent, Bill Frisell to Pat Metheny, the lucky winner will be in quality - if since matriculated - company. More information on Berklee Scholarships is available here. Good luck!
